· To document the lives of the members of the Baker (Becker) family who lived on Flat Island (near Tancook Island) in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, Canada. · To post blog entries about the journey of my search for the documentation necessary to confirm family stories and uncover the actual facts available about this Baker family. · To seek out information on the descendants of this particular line of the “Tancook” Bakers and discover where they relocated. · To honour my ancestors’ courage and perseverance as they settled and survived on this rugged little island under very difficult conditions. |
